Icky Joey was a super group of sorts, featuring Ed Fotheringham (renowned cover artist for many great albums and member of the experimental proto-grunge band The Thrown Ups) and the rhythm section from Love Battery. Poking around on the internet, it seems some people have a soft spot in their hearts for this band, but our friends at KCMU were not impressed, with opinions ranging from tepid to rancorous. — Review by the good folks at KEXP (nailed it)
